Go outside and play!

That’s right. I said it.

Get off the computer. Go outside. And play!

I don’t care how old you are. To think you are too old to play just ages you- it makes you old in mind, soul, and yes- body.

We wouldn’t want that, now would we?

Nope!

Get up.

Jump rope. Ride a bike. Play in the dirt (some people call this gardening, but that’s adult-speak for “playing in the dirt”). Blow bubbles. Hopscotch. Go to a park. Sit in the grass. Climb a tree. Sing a song. Run. Skip. Lollygag around. Swim. Swing. Rollerskate or rollerblade. Dance in the rain.  Heck, be a cliche and sing in the rain. Be beautiful!

Just move your body.

Getting that heart pounding releases endorphins. Getting active and staying active helps reduce chronic pain. It makes people happier.

It practically sneaks up on you and smacks a smile right on your face.

Have fun. Stay young.

Move it!
